2 full day visit within the KIRINDY forest : at the heart of Menabe is the dry forest of Krindy . this natural wonder is home to several local endemic and highly threatened species .

Fauna : berthe’s Mouse lemur , giant jumping rat and fosa , rich in reptiles (tortoises, snakes and lizards

The forest is also very dry whereas during the rainy season much of the area of flooded and bright green leaves cover most of the plants. Kirindy is not accessible from mid-January to late March due to the rain.
